Pilot Wings is a stage that appears in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, referencing the original Pilotwings on the SNES and Pilotwings Resort for the Nintendo 3DS.

The combatants start off on the wings of the red biplane from the original game, taking off of the third island from Pilotwings, flying through rings also from the original. As the battle progresses, players will eventually drop onto the yellow plane from Pilotwings Resort, which makes its way towards Wuhu Island. Here, it will pass the landscape, as well as Miis flying around with jetpacks, flying through the rings from Pilotwings Resort. Afterwards, the yellow plane will meet up with the biplane again, causing the stage to loop.
