'''Pokey Heads''' are enemies appearing in ''[[Super Mario Galaxy]]'', and ''[[Super Mario Galaxy 2]]''. They are basically a [[Pokey]], but include only the head hence their name. They act similar to [[Pokey Sprout]]s in ''[[Super Mario Sunshine]]'' but they're green and lack any spikes.
Unlike standard Pokeys, they cannot fall on [[Mario]], as they are too small. Instead, they hide in the ground, and jump out when Mario or Luigi come close. They then hop towards Mario slowly. They can be defeated with a [[Stomp|Jump]] or [[Spin]]. Stomping will reveal a [[Coin]] and spinning will release 3 [[Star Bit]]s. They are found mainly in desert Galaxies such as the [[Dusty Dune Galaxy]] and the [[Slipsand Galaxy]].
