Though [[Nintendo of America]] localised his name as "Pokey" in ''EarthBound'', "Porky" was used in his subsequent appearances in the [[Super Smash Bros. (series)|''Super Smash Bros.'' series]]. When Lucas was walking alone in [[The Ruined Zoo]], [[The Pig King Statue|a giant statue of Porky Minch]] appears and begins chasing him through the zoo, attempting to crush Lucas. At the end of the scene, Lucas got his leg stuck under a root and was about to be killed by the Statue, when Ness appeared to Lucas's rescue, destroying the statue by using [[Ness#PK Thunder|PK Thunder]] and [[PK Flash]]. It revealed a spider-like machine that had Porky inside it, and the boys battled him. Ness and Lucas defeated Porky and destroyed the machine.▼
