The Smart Bomb is an item found in all five Star Fox games, and is scheduled to appear in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. When used, the Smart Bomb will hover in the air where it has been thrown to, then explode and destroy anything in its reach. However, the full extent of the Smart Bomb's power is currently unknown. Unlike in the actual Star Fox games, the Smart Bomb does not seem to possess the ability to home into the opponent in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
