This item cannot be grabbed, however, and to use it, it must be attacked, which will send it flying as it catches on fire and acts as a projectile before landing once again on the ground, or falling off the stage. If it hits someone in mid-air, they will be flung away. The ball appears in its ''Mario sTrikers Charged'' design as well, as an obstacle in the [[Coin Launcher]].
