*In [[List of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga pre-release and unused content|early plans]] for ''[[Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga]]'', [[Link]] was supposed to appear in [[Starbeans Cafe]] and was going to give the bros an object called Triforce. However, it was changed to the [[Great Force]] and Link himself is replaced by [[Professor Elvin Gadd|Professor E. Gadd]]. In the original, the Great Force is a simple gold triangle, resembling one of the three pieces of the Triforce; in [[Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions|the remake]], it resembles a thick, filled-in Triforce.
