The Blue Falcon can be unlocked in ''Mario Kart Wii'' by winning the [[Lightning Cup]] in [[Mirror Mode]], or by playing 4,200 races. Its bike counterpart is the [[Jet Bubble]]. In ''Mario Kart 8 Deluxe'', it can be unlocked randomly by collecting [[coin]]s, as per the other previously DLC-exclusive vehicle parts.
 
This kart does not have a bike counterpart for its size class. In fact, no vehicle, including the Jet Bubble, has stats similar to this kart because all other karts and their bike counterparts have a speed stat difference of 2 or 3 points. This and the Jet Bubble have a speed stat difference of 12 points, which is the main stat of the game.
