On this stage, Snake can use his codec to get information about his opponents from [[Otacon]], the [[Colonel Roy Campbell|Colonel]], [[Mei Ling]] and (if [[Falco]] is being faced) [[Slippy Toad|Slippy]]. He can trigger the conversations with a [[taunt]]. They have no influence on the actual battle.
The Metal Gear RAY, Metal Gear REX or two GEKKO may appear in the background of the stage, but they do not affect gameplay, although in very rare occasions they can affect or damage a player.
