:::::::::Ok fair, any bad edits that the wiki has done that you want to mention? MontyMoleLoreMaster (talk) 17:36, October 19, 2022 (UTC)
::::::::::No, and it's probably not a good idea to mention any because I don't want us to dwell on the community there (I'm already uncomfortable about the lengthy response I made on your talk page). Bawitdaba (talk) 17:57, October 19, 2022 (UTC)
:::::::::::That's the primary reason I use the earlier versions of the pages, 2013 was when I feel that the site was at it's greatest (and most informative and expansive), after 2015, I feel it started to drop downward in terms of information and it got worse from there (I witnessed some of the downsizing during my time there in 2016). Also, nice work with the Mario and Bowser page edits, also, I kind of see what you're saying MMLM, stuff like that can be a bit irritating (when they unnecessarily merge pages and remove info and such) in fact, I touched upon that in my blog post I made about the Super Mario Wiki a few years ago. And yeah, I remember them talking about "flowery writing" during my time there, like they're just downsizing the info and making the page less informative. And also, as you mentioned Bawitdaba, from what I can see, the page that has the most info is the one that will attract more viewers, that's why when I make pages, I've been making them as expansive as possible. The Glorpedo merge wasn't the only one they did as well, they also merged the Chain-Link and the Fences from the 2D games despite the two being clearly different along with the uncessary page moves (such as renaming "Ball 'n' Chain" to "Spinner" despite the latter name being in only one (rather unreliable) source, the NSMBU Prima Guide, and later sources (such as the Prima Guides for MK8 and MK8D) using the traditional name) and even ignoring viable sources such as the Prima Guide for MKW as well as the Nintendo Power Magazines (and even some of the guides such as the SMB3 Guide), there's more noteworthy factors but the list goes on.
