This game was remade for ''[[Game & Watch Gallery 2]]''. The Modern Mode of this game featured [[Yoshi]] guarding six [[Yoshi Egg]]s from incoming [[Koopa Paratroopa]]s, [[Fly Guy]]s and [[Boo]]s. The Boos wouldn't move if Yoshi is looking at one. If the any of the baddies are left unattended, they'll start pounding the eggs. If any egg gets completely broken, the player is penalized with a miss. Every 100 points, the player gets rewarded a bonus dependent on how many unbroken eggs are on the field. Moles will also appear every 200 points to lay a [[Heart]] on the field. Hitting the heart with the hammer will recover on third of damage done to the eggs.

Vermin is part of the Game & Watch series of handheld videogames, and was released on July 10, 1980; another version of the game was also released that year, under the name The Exterminator[1]. This game basically has the player moving left and right to smack incoming moles with hammers. If any moles are left untouched for a few seconds, the player is penalized with a miss.
