Vermin of DSi Ware.

Vermin is part of the Game & Watch series of handheld videogames, and was released on July 10, 1980; another version of the game was also released that year, under the name The Exterminator[1]. This game basically has the player moving left and right to smack incoming moles with hammers. If any moles are left untouched for a few seconds, the player is penalized with a miss.

Misses can't be cleared at all in this Game & Watch title, which means the player needs to be very cautious.

Vermin was a game in the gallery of the original Game & Watch Gallery.

This game was remade for Game & Watch Gallery 2. The Modern Mode of this game featured Yoshi guarding six Yoshi Eggs from incoming Koopa Paratroopas, Fly Guys, and Boos. The Boos wouldn't move if Yoshi is looking at one. If the any of the baddies are left unattended, they'll start pounding the eggs. Each egg can only take up to three hits. If an egg gets completely broken, the player will get a Game Over. Every 100 points, the player gets rewarded a bonus dependent on how many unbroken eggs are on the field. Moles will also appear every 200 points to lay a Heart on the field. Hitting the heart with the hammer will recover a third of the damage done to the eggs.

The game has been remade for the Nintendo DSi in the DSi Ware. It was released in April 5, 2010 for the US, April 9, 2010 for Europe, and July 15, 2009 for Japan.
