Vine Slimes,[1] also known as Slugs,[2] are slug creatures that appear in Yoshi's Story, specifically the international releases, in place of Ghost Streams. Vine Slimes only appear in the depths of the Torrential Maze, where they are found crawling up and down vines. Vine Slimes are blue and can move their two eyes from one side of their bodies to the other. Vine Slimes cannot be defeated, so the playable Yoshi instead has to avoid them.
