'''Winged Rocky Wrenches''' are a winged variant of [[Rocky Wrench]] who appear in ''[[Super Mario Maker]]'', its [[Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS|3DS port]], and its sequel, ''[[Super Mario Maker 2]]''. They behave the same way in all three of their appearances.
In the course editor, winged Rocky Wrenches can be created by giving the [[wings]] item to a Rocky Wrench. In-game they peek out of their holes like a regular Rocky Wrench. However, when they emerge, they float in the air for a bit and throw their wrench before going back down. When a winged Rocky Wrench is jumped on, they lose their wings and revert back to an ordinary Rocky Wrench. Winged Rocky Wrenches can instantly be defeated by most attacks except for standard jumping.
