Bears are a species very similar to normal bears due to the characteristics from their bodies and they are inhabitants from islands belonging to the DK Isles.
Physical appearance
Most bears have pale pink skin, round ears, bare muzzle, black nose, white fur on belly, short tail and sharp nails on hands & feet. They have different colors in their fur, such as: brown, blue, orange, white and blond.
History
Background information
The past, society and culture of this species are unknown. But according to Bazooka, the bears participated in the Kremean War against the Kremlings during the Kremling Kuthroats' time for a long ago.[2][3]
Donkey Kong franchise
In Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! and Donkey Kong Land III, a group of bears on Kong Country where they have established their residences as the Brothers Bear who act as allies of the Kong Family where they provide their services to Dixie Kong & Kiddy Kong and are friends with Funky Kong.[4]
In Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, a panda bear called Mini Panda was the mini-boss on Grim Volcano and Asteroid Belt.
In Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, a bear named Bashmaster served as one of Snowmad leaders who took over Juicy Jungle island and the penultimate boss of the game.
