Normal big Monty Moles first appear in ''[[Super Mario Maker]]'', its [[Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS|3Ds port]], and its sequel ''[[Super Mario Maker 2]]'' as placeable enemies. In these games, they can be made by giving a [[Super Mushroom]] to a Monty Mole. In all four main styles, big Monty Moles look and behave identically to the standard Monty Moles, with the only difference to them being that they are larger. Additionally, big Monty Moles are immune to being eaten by a [[Yoshi]].
