A Bomb Flapper is a Badnik which is a variant of the Egg Flapper, equipped with the ability to drop bombs from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.
The Bomb Flapper has made a few appearances in general, but one of them is in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games for the Nintendo DS. Here, a Bomb Flapper is the subject of the Defeat Bomb Flapper! mini-game in Adventure Tours mode. In it, a Bomb Flapper, which has been modified by a Shy Guy to drop Bob-ombs, drops its ammunition around the field. The objective is for the playable character, Waluigi, to throw the Bob-ombs back at the Bomb Flapper several times within a minute. The Bomb Flapper occasionally drops green Bob-ombs that chase after Waluigi.
