F-Zero is a series of racing games created by Nintendo. The series is known for its mechanically complex high-speed racing, characters such as Captain Falcon, and futuristic aesthetic. While Captain Falcon has appeared alongside Mario characters in all four Super Smash Bros. games, the series eventually made its way to the Mario franchise proper (specifically its own racing spinoff Mario Kart) with race tracks inspired by the series, as well as a kart based on the Blue Falcon.
