Crabs are a species of crustaceans in the real world. They have made appearances in Mario and its related franchises:
- Crab (Mario franchise) - Regular crabs debut in Mario Kart 64, and have also appeared in the Super Mario series and Mario & Luigi series. However, the most recurring type of crab within the Mario franchise are Sidesteppers, and they are alternatively named Crab.
- Crab (Super Mario: Mario im Wunderland) - A human wizard who appears in the Club Nintendo comic "Super Mario: Mario im Wunderland." Aside from his name, Crab has nothing in common with the species themselves.
- Crab (Donkey Kong franchise) - Regular crabs in the Donkey Kong franchise that have appeared in the Donkey Kong Country television series and the two remakes for Donkey Kong Country.
