They are similar to the [[Fun, Funky, and Functional Toad]]s and [[Fun, Funky, and Functional Sniffit]]s, in-which they sell accessories to [[Mario]]. They resemble an ordinary Monty Mole, but they carry a large brown bag with various items on their back.
The Fun, Funky, and Functional Monty Mole appears in a shop found in [[Breezy Tunnel]], alongside another Monty Mole which sells shiny items. The Fun, Funky, and Functional Monty Mole sells the [[Treasure Alert]] and [[Silver Time Plus]], thanking Mario when he purchases the items like other character shopkeepers.
In the final cutscene of the game, the Fun, Funky, and Functional Monty Mole can be seen chatting with a Fun, Funky, and Functional Toad and Sniffit.
