Mariopedia is a wiki about the Mario franchise and its closely related series, such as Super Smash Bros. and Banjo-Kazooie. It was founded by HannahMontanaFan on June 16, 2021, and it had the url supermariowiki.miraheze.org. Their reason for creating the wiki was to base it on the Super Mario Wiki from its earlier days. Later that year, the url was renamed to mario.miraheze.org, per Bawitdaba's suggestion. On April 26, 2022, also per Bawitdaba's suggestion, the wiki has been renamed to Mariopedia and given a new domain, mariopedia.org.
