Sockpuppetry is when a user tries to go around local blocks or global locks simply to either post spam, vandalize pages, or to simply harass another user, or other nefarious acts of deception. Principally, this constitutes a breach of Miraheze's global user accounts policy, a policy where all users are bound to follow. Resorting to using sockpuppets might result in a permanent ban from the network entirely if you are found to be misusing multiple accounts.
