'''Mawful Moles''' are a species of [[Monty Mole]] with [[Fawful]]-like attributes that are found as enemies in [[Blubble Lake]] from ''[[Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story]]'' and its [[Nintendo 3DS]] remake, ''[[Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey]]''. [[Bowser]] can defeat Mawful Moles in the overworld by simply crushing them and earning some [[coin]]s in the process, while [[Mario]] and [[Luigi]] can engage them in battle. Mawful Moles attack by throwing boulders at the Mario Bros., which is countered by a [[jump]]. If the Mawful Mole gets dirt on their face, they will miss and throw the boulder really high, which will hurt the brothers if they jump, but will miss if they stand still. The Mawful Moles have another attack, in-which they "wink", showing which brother they are going to attack. This attack can be countered with the [[hammer]], which can be done several times while the Mawful Mole is popping out of the holes until they jump over the selected brother to fall on him which causes damage.
