Mirror Mode is an unlockable mode in the Mario Kart series. Mirror Mode flips all racetracks, making them the "mirror" image of the original. Right turns become left turns and vice versa. This means that Mirror Mode is often the hardest mode to complete as players develop an intuitive feel for the original courses and have a hard time adjusting to the mirror copies. Computer players are also much more advanced in Mirror Mode. If Mirror Mode is completed, the player is often rewarded with a number of unlockables.
