Monty Mole Iceberg Getaway is the eighty-eighth course in the Story Mode of Super Mario Maker 2. It is set in the snow theme for its main area and in the underground theme for its sub-area, as well as in the Super Mario World style. It is posted by Warrior Dad, and has a difficulty rating of 2/4 stars.

History
Warrior Dad tried making a course for his son by transporting several Monty Moles to an iceberg. However, the course was considered way too challenging, and the Monty Moles that were forcefully transported to the iceberg were extremely upset with their location. Warrior Dad would later make a job listing for Mario for him to help complete his course to see if anyone could get through it.

Layout
The level begins with some Ice Blocks placed in a periodic wave, along with many Monty Moles a Note Block containing a Yoshi. After some Note Blocks containing Monty Moles and a Warp Pipe, Mario will encounter a ? Block containing a Super Mushroom, along with a Big Thwomp just before the Checkpoint Flag. Additional Big Thwomps follow on the path to a Warp Pipe leading to a flat area with more Ice Blocks, though taking the rightmost Big Thwomp upward leads Mario to a secret Warp Pipe that bypasses a portion of the level. Both paths eventually lead to gaps in an Ice Block path and Bigbig Monty Moles, which in turn eventually lead to an Ice Block staircase just before the Giant Gate.

Trivia
*The Japanese, Korean, and Chinese names for this level confirm that the Monty Moles living on the iceberg are a family.
