A Mōgyo is an enemy encountered in the Tree Zone's second stage, In the Trees, in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. They are a hybrid of a cow and a fish. Mōgyo are found swimming in the tree sap. If Mario enters the sap it is in, the Mōgyo charges at him horizontally. To defeat a Mōgyo, Mario has to either jump on top of it or throw a fireball at it.

頭は牛なのに胴体は魚という変な生き物。樹液の中を泳ぎまわり、動きが鈍くなったマリオを恐い顔で追いかける。体は大きいし、ツノもあるけど、そんなに強い敵じゃない。[1]

A monster with two horns
A strange creature with the head of a cow but the body of a fish. It swims around in the sap and chases Mario, with a fearful look on its face, when he slows down. It has a large body and horns, but it is not a very strong enemy.
