Pikmin is the name of a video game for the Gamecube, and the name of a species of small plant-like creatures that exist in the Pikmin games. They have also appeared in the Marioverse. They cameo in Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, appearing in flower beds.

  • Olimar and Louie are loosely based on Mario and Luigi (their names are noticeably similar to Mario and Luigi's names as well)
