Swanky Kong is an Kong who works as bonus show host of the Kong Family in Donkey Kong franchise.

He always wants his participants to win the prizes from his shows, he does not like the audience to help his participants, amicably he always considers them winners even if they lose and never leaves anyone empty-handed with consolation prizes.[1][2][3]

Characteristics

Swanky Kong is a pale-skinned gorilla with brown fur, afro hairstyle, golden teeth from above and wears 3 golden rings on each hand.

His normal outfit is just a blue plaid coat with black buttons. In Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!, he wears a black bowler hat, white shirt, yellow plaid vest, black pants, black & white shoes and carries a cane.

History

In Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, Swanky was host from his Bonus Bonanza on Crocodile Isle where he expected his participants to win the prizes inside the 3 barrels and Diddy Kong & Dixie Kong were those participants. He had a trio of questions if the participant chooses one of the barrels for the winner to give 3 of them and win an Extra Life Balloon. Before he asked the questions, he needed an amount of Banana Coins to do this.

In Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!, Swanky built his sideshow in one of Northern Kremisphere islands and Cranky Kong is his main participant in which he wastes money on his games. He meets with Dixie & Kiddy saying that he offers more prizes if they choose the following 3 challenges as: Head to Head, Race to 25 and Endurance. Only he needs 2 Bear Coins to allow anyone to participate. If the participant wins, Swanky will give 4 Banana Bunches and 4 Coins. If the participant loses, Swanky will give 2 banana bunches & 1 coin. If give a dawn, Swanky will give 2 bunches & 2 coins.
