The template pertains to articles by default. When using this template, place {{Stub}} at the bottom of a short article. To make it about a specific section instead, type {{stub|section=yes}}. To have the edit link go directly to the section, add the section number that appears in the URL as a parameter: {{stub|section=yes|6}}. This template automatically adds the article into Category:Stubs, or Category:Section stubs if the |section= parameter is defined.
