I think you have a very good way of describing things. While I haven't analyzed ''Super Mario Bros. Wonder'' to the extent that you have (I've decided to pass on it), I do think that it does feel like things being thrown at a wall until they can find something that sticks. THIS is why fangame developers matter: eventually, something is going to hit the point of the same ideas being regurgitated and eaten again by the same people, unless they are willing to expand their creativity, including to people who may know the franchise EVEN MORE than they do. Throwing something until it sticks never ever does it for me; one has to have a proper basis or inspiration, like ''Super Mario Sunshine'' is an inspired and great game. I haven't played ''Sonic Superstars'', but I have seen ads for it. [[User:Eeyore the Iowan Goat|Eeyore the Iowan Goat]] ([[User talk:Eeyore the Iowan Goat|talk]]) 04:43, March 5, 2024 (UTC)
:I think that is a pretty good perspective on things, I also heard rumors that the team who made ''Super Mario Bros. Wonder'' had ideas for a sequel, which concerns me since I feel like this will just lead to something like ''Super Mario Galaxy 2'' where they do not improve any of the flaws the original game had and just do more of the same (and considering how AWFUL ''Super Mario Bros. Wonder'' is, I could imagine them making the game even worse by having more barebones and terrible level design and still having a lack of returning enemies in favor of awful new ones that look like they were AI generated). Do you agree that a sequel to ''Super Mario Bros. Wonder'' would likely just be as poorly made as the original game? One last thing I wanted to note on is if you agree that ''Super Mario Bros. Wonder'' is way too overrated and overhyped for a game that is mediocre at best and is basically just watered down level design and enemies in favor for awful poorly executed gimmicks? ::Yes, I'm in agreement. A sequel does sound as if it'd be in the line of ''Super Mario Bros. Wonder''. Not the first time this has occurred in the ''Super Mario'' series, as there's been ''Super Mario Maker'' receiving a follow-up, ''Super Mario Galaxy'' receiving a follow up.
