Cluckers are a type of Badnik from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. They are robotic chickens who each operate their own turret. Cluckers make their first overall appearance in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Sega Genesis, but their first Mario-related appearance is in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.

In Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, Cluckers appear as enemies in the Tokyo Sky Flight mini-game. Here, they reuse their sprites from Sonic the Hedgehog 2, albeit upscaled. Cluckers sit firmly in one spot while firing bullets at the playable characters. Some Cluckers are equipped with Bumper shields that can protect them from the Tornado's gunshots, but they can be knocked away using the Tornado's shockwave attack. Unguarded Cluckers are easily destroyed with two gunshots from the Tornado, which also earns the player 100 points.
