Golden Monty Mole

Golden Monty Moles[1] are a golden variant of Monty Mole that appear exclusively in Mario Party 6. Golden Monty Moles resemble normal Monty Moles, except with golden fur and a red nose.

Golden Monty Moles only appear in the minigame Mole-it!. In the minigame, Golden Monty Moles would function identical to the normal Monty Moles that appeared in the minigame by popping their heads out of the pipes. Golden Monty Moles appear less frequently and are more rare than the normal Monty Moles. However, Golden Monty Moles award three points when the player hits them instead of the normal Monty Moles who just give one point.
Trivia
- In Super Mario Party, the playable Monty Mole can drink the Golden Drink item to become golden. However, this form is completely unrelated to the Golden Monty Moles from Mario Party 6.
- Golden Monty Moles are one of the few golden enemies to not be affiliated with New Super Mario Bros. 2 .
- Coincidentally, Golden Monty Moles are very similar to a species of mole in real life known as the golden mole.
