(text based on an earlier version of https://www.mariowiki.com/Jumping_Fire_Piranha_Plant (not my edits). also, re: Mario Portal -- I would've still considered it a source & grounds for renaming (aside from case-by-case like the obv Rocky Wrench error but Moofish being reason to rename), but anyway.) |

Jumping Venus Fire Trapsref needed (also called Fire Jumping Piranhasref needed or Jumping Fire Piranha Plants) are a variant of Jumping Piranha Plants that can spit fireballs. They make their only appearance in Super Mario World and its reissues. |
|||
Jumping Venus Fire Traps appear in Cookie Mountain and the Special Zone. They mainly appear in the level Outrageous. A lone Jumping Venus Fire Trap is also found in the level Groovy, and another one is found in Funky. Jumping Venus Fire Traps behave a lot like Jumping Piranha Plants except that they can also spit two fireballs similar to Venus Fire Traps, though a Jumping Venus Fire Trap's fireball goes in two separate directions. They are rare as there are only seven of them that appear in the whole entire game. |
