Peppy Hare is a gray hare and a character from the Star Fox series, in which he debuted in the first Star Fox game. Peppy is usually one of Fox's main teammates, along with Falco and Slippy, such as in Star Fox 64, though since the events of Star Fox: Assault, Peppy has retired as a pilot.
Peppy has made a few Mario-related appearances in the past, namely the Super Smash Bros. series.
Club Nintendo magazine
He made another appearance in the Club Nintendo comic "Super Mario: Verloren in der Zeit", where he is shown watching the Olympics with Fox and Falco.
Super Smash Bros. series
In Super Smash Bros. Melee, Peppy is featured in both Fox's and Falco's smash taunts on the Corneria and Venom stages. There is also a collectible trophy of Peppy.
