The {{nihongo|'''Choropū Shinrin-tai'''|チョロプー 森林隊|Monty Mole Forest Corp}} are a group of [[Monty Mole]]s who work for [[Bowser]] in the third ''[[Super Mario Kart]]'' volume of the ''[[Super Mario (Kodansha manga)|Super Mario]]'' Kodansha manga. There are at least two known members of the Choropū Shinrin-tai, both of whom are wearinganthropomorphic and wear army-like clothing.
During one of the races in athe jungle[[Subtropical Jungle Course]], Bowser calls the Choropū Shinrin-tai to help sabotage the race in his and [[Wario]]'s favor. The Choropū Shinrin-tai use a chainsaw[[Chainsaw]] to cut down one of the trees in order to block everybody's path. However, [[Mario]] and [[Princess Peach|Peach]] drive right before beinggetting hit by the tree., as instead, [[Luigi]] gets knocked out of his [[kart]] and gets lost in the jungle. The now chopped down tree would also blocksblock all the other racer's path, including Bowser's and Wario's path. Bowser would then angrily yellsyell at the Choropū Shinrin-tai, beforeas they quickly runran away from Bowser. Later on, theythe thenChoropū Shinrin-tai would tryattempt to stop Mario and Peach,butwhile they endwere updriving. defeatedUnfortunately, bythe Choropū Shinrin-tai would end up getting runran over by themMario instead.
