The Choropū Shinrin-tai (チョロプー 森林隊 Monty Mole Forest Corp?) are a group of Monty Moles who work for Bowser in the third Super Mario Kart volume of the Super Mario Kodansha manga. There are at least two known members of the Choropū Shinrin-tai, both of whom are anthropomorphic and wear army-like clothing.

During one of the races in the Subtropical Jungle Course, Bowser calls the Choropū Shinrin-tai to help sabotage the race in his and Wario's favor. The Choropū Shinrin-tai use a Chainsaw to cut down one of the trees in order to block everybody's path. However, Mario and Peach drive right before getting hit by the tree, as instead, Luigi gets knocked out of his kart and gets lost in the jungle. The now chopped down tree would also block all the other racer's path, including Bowser's and Wario's. Bowser would then angrily yell at the Choropū Shinrin-tai, as they ran away from him. Later on, the Choropū Shinrin-tai would attempt to stop Mario and Peach while they were driving. Unfortunately, the Choropū Shinrin-tai would end up getting ran over by Mario instead.
