The Yellow Devil is a stage boss that appears on the Wily Castle stage on both Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. A recurring character and boss in the Mega Man series, the Yellow Devil appears at random, appearing from the background. It attacks as it does in its series of origin by moving piece by piece from one side of the stage to another and by shooting lasers out of its eye, which is also its only weak point. When the Yellow Devil is defeated, it will explode and damage everyone caught in it except the person who landed the final blow.
