Armored Koopas[1] are a variant of Koopa Troopa featured as an enemy in Mario Pinball Land. They are only encountered in the Fiery Stage, within Bowser's Castle. Armored Koopas wear steel armor, and have a spike on top of their head. In this regard, they are similar to Terrapins in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and Koopatrols in the Paper Mario series. Mario can only defeat an Armored Koopa by bashing it into a wall, which crushes it.
