Bumblers[1] are bee enemies featured in Mario Pinball Land, as one of the few enemies introduced within the game. If Mario goes near a Bumbler, it chases him, pointing its stinger in the direction it travels. If Mario is stung by a Bumbler, he goes out of control. Mario can defeat a Bumbler by hitting its back. Bumblers eventually give up after a while if they cannot sting Mario and return to their original position.
Bumblers only appear in the second part of the Grassy Greens Stage, with the windmill where Petey Piranha awaits. Bumblers also appear if Mario hits the beehive near the windmill, where three of them come out. Mario has to defeat them to earn a Star. If ignored for a long time, the Bumblers return back into the beehive.
