Krusha (also known as Kruncha)[2] is a Kremling with a protective force who served as one of the Kremling Krew's bodyguards.[3]
Characteristics
Krusha is a blue/gray/crimson muscular Kritter, light-toned belly and 4 yellow/red horns on his head.
His common outfit is a camouflage outfit, silver bracelets and a black belt. When he was a pirate, he wore yellow/black clothes, a red bandana with white polka dots, golden/silver bracelets, earrings and an anchor tattooed on his shoulder.
History
Main series
In Donkey Kong Country, Krusha along with the Kremling Krew commanded by Klump was assigned to steal the Banana Hoard and deliver it to K. Rool on the Gangplank Galleon.[4] Krusha can be resistant to Diddy's attacks by making him laugh, but he can be easily defeated by DK (except for roll and hand slam attacks), throw a barrel at him, and be attacked by Rambi or Winky.
In Donkey Kong Land, Krusha becomes the protective force for half of the Kremling Krew with the Kritters and Klaptraps.
Like other Kremling Krew members during the events of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest/Donkey Kong Land 2', Krusha is ordered by K. Rool to dress up as a pirate of the Kremling Kuthroats' time.[5][6][7] He is nicknamed Kruncha, because he gets angry when the little Kongs hit him physically even though he's match for them. Without Donkey Kong around, the only thing to defeat him is other means.
In Donkey Kong 64, Krusha is the selectable character in Monkey Smash if the player photograph 15 Banana Fairies in any of the three files in Adventure Mode. Krusha's abilities are somewhat similar to Chunky Kong's, but has a couple of different moves like: fast swipe attack and utilizes an orange grenade launcher in combat (unlike Chunky's Pineapple Bazooka). Interestingly, Krusha never appears in the game as the enemy (being replaced by Kasplat).
Appearances in other media
In animated series from 1996, Krusha has the same role as games. But he's got a double personality when he gets a hard blow to the head, for example: first he's dimwitted & obedient and second he's smart & disobedient. His favorite show is The Sing Along with Uncle Swampy Show in which this show airs every week and is watched by 1 million viewers.
Profiles
Donkey Kong Country
- Instruction booklet (page 29): This muscle-bound Kremling will laugh off most attacks.
- SNES Nintendo Player's Guide (page 12): Check out the big guns on this crazy Kremling! Krusha is the big, blue, buff dude. He's also the big, silver, buffer dude! Donkey Kong can take out the Blue Krushas by jumping on them or rolling through them. Unfortunately, Diddy can not do the same. They make a really funny groaning noise when they bite the dust. When it comes to the Silver Krushas, just leave them alone. They're too tough to take out. Jump over them when the coast is clear or toss a barrel at them if you have one handy.
- GBA Nintendo Player's Guide (page 14): Krushas, with their bulging biceps and pecs, are the brawn of King K. Rool's army. Donkey Kong can take out the blue Krushas with one jump, buy the beefy Krocks are a bit too much for Diddy to tangle with. Avoid the silver Krushas by jumping over them, or destroy them with barrels-they're the touguest of all the Krocs.

- Nintendo Player's Guide (page 13): Kruncha's buff, bad and dangerous to know! He is invulnerable to most attacks, but a barrel or chest can knock the fight out of him. If he turns red, he can take out with a single touch!
- Nintendo Power vol. 76 (page 26): And let's not leave out Krusha, who has a chest like a boulder and a brain to match.

Donkey Kong 64
- Nintendo Player's Guide (page 118): One Kremling can join in the Kongtest if you've managed to capture 15 Fairies on film. When Krusha is available to enter the fray, watch out for his shots above all else. Unlike the Kongs, the Kremling fires orange shots that explode just like grenade oranges. The over-sized lizar also uses a super slide move to attack unwary apes.

He waddles along like a duck, blocking every ape in his path. Donkey Kong has no trouble putting Klump out of his misery, but here again, lack of size counts against Diddy as he has to hit Klump twice to off him. If Diddy jumps on Klump's head, Klump will back up and prepare for battle. Diddy can then just do a powerful cartwheel right through him."
