Board the Platforms! is the second bonus stage in Super Smash Bros. It is the eighth stage in Classic Mode. The stage can be accessed by playing Classic Mode, where there is a two-minute limit. It is also playable by choosing "Bonus 2 Practice" in Single-Player, where the player can choose any of the characters' levels. Like Break the Targets!, each character has a specially designed course; boarding all ten platforms usually requires utilizing all or most of the characters' attacks. Unlike Break the Targets! and Race to the Finish!, this game only appeared in the original Super Smash Bros., and is the only mode in the entire Super Smash Bros. series for which this is the case.
Rules
The player has to board all 10 platforms. When the stage is played in 1P Mode, there is a time limit of two minutes. When the game is played separately, there is no given time limit. If the player falls off the stage, the challenge ends.
Design
The levels' designs are all different, and each has a theme that generally relates to the character. For example, Mario and Donkey Kong's stages resemble a construction site, and Yoshi and Pikachu's resemble a grassy land. Each stage has various obstacles, including Bumpers, Flippers, and spikes.
