Mario and Yoshi on Turning Turning Double Time

The Double Time Comet is a type of Prankster Comet that makes Mario redo a level, this time with the hazards moving faster. It is featured in Beat Block Galaxy and Twisty Trials Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy 2. This is similar to the Fast Foe Comet from Super Mario Galaxy, except that instead of enemies, the stage hazards move faster, and slightly slower overall than when a Fast Foe Comet is in orbit. Despite the name "Double Time Comet," the hazards move at four times the normal speed instead of twice.
