Species origin | Galoomba |
Para-Goombas (also called Para-Galoombas or Para Kuribon) are Galoombas with parachutes that only appear in Super Mario World. They descend slowly from the sky, and once they land, they act like normal Galoombas. A kind of Bob-omb known as Para-bombs also appears and uses a similar technique. They are not to be confused with the winged Goombas known as Paragoombas that appear in numerous other games, nor with the two types of winged Galoombas that appear in Mario Clash and Super Mario World, which are also known as Para-Goombas in the former, but known as Winged Goombas in the latter.
