He attacks Mario by using [[enchanted obelisk]]s to make magic spheres appear, which follow Mario and, when they touch him, make him smaller and more likely to fall out of the stage. However, if Mario hits the enchanted obelisks, he will become bigger. To defeat the Egyptian Koopa, Mario has to run into the enchanted obelisks to make himself extra large and bash him three times while big. Once defeated, he will shrink away and leave behind his headdress and canes, which disappear soon after.
