Eggrobos are enemies from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. They are Badniks that resemble Dr. Eggman and first appeared in Sky Sanctuary Zone from Sonic & Knuckles. They hover around and shoot laser beams if they spot the player. One Eggrobo appears as a primary antagonist when playing as Knuckles, where Mecha Sonic serves as a true final boss.

Eggrobos appear as enemies in the Smash Run mode in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. Using the booster attached to their back, they hover around like in the original game, and try to dodge player's attacks. They use their guns to attack, from which they shoot smaller beams and larger beams.
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020
In Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, the Eggrobos appear as playable characters in the Volleyball 2D Event. During this event, the Eggrobos serve as Dr. Eggman's teammates. Notably, the Eggrobos possess their 16-bit sprite appearance from Sonic & Knuckles, albeit with some slight modifications.
