History
New Super Mario Bros.
Mega Goombas appear in the beta version of New Super Mario Bros. here, they appear to be massive versions of Goomba that increase in size once in contact with a Mushroom. They appeared to pose a much larger threat than your everyday average Goomba. Since the Mushroom element was removed from the game, so was the Mega Goomba however a Mega Goomba boss appears in the game.
Mario Golf: World Tour
A Mega Goomba appears in Mario Golf: World Tour on Hole 2 of Wiggler Park. Because it appears behind the green, it is unlikely that the player should hit the ball into it. If they manage to do so, it will cause the Mega Goomba to look around wondering what just happened while the player's ball would likely land Out of Bounds.
