Huge Podoboo Cogs (also called Huge Fire Bars) are larger variants of Podoboo Cogs that appear in New Super Mario Bros. U, New Super Luigi U and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. They are twice as large as a normal Podoboo Cog.
History
Super Mario series
New Super Mario Bros. U
Huge Podoboo Cogs first appear in New Super Mario Bros. U. One appears in Slide Lift Tower, and many appear as the main obstacle in Fire Bar Cliffs. They are also found in the Boost Mode Challenge, Thwomp Castle Cash Flow.
New Super Luigi U
Huge Podoboo Cogs return in New Super Luigi U. They appear in Fire Bar Sprint once again as the main obstacle.
Mario Party: Island Tour
One Huge Podoboo Cog also appears in Mario Party: Island Tour, where it is found in the minigame Great Bars of Fire. It is slightly larger than the lower Podoboo Cog.
