Mega Eep-Cheeps[1] are a large, rare, sub-species of Eep-Cheep that first appear in the game New Super Luigi U. In this game, they act like their small counterparts and are often seen guiding them through the waters. However, they are larger and less common, appearing first in the secret level Cheep Chomp Chase of Acorn Plains, Some also appear on the level Urchin Reef Romp in Sparkling Waters.
Trivia
- Despite not appearing in the game, Mega Eep-Cheeps exist unused within the files of New Super Mario Bros. Wii, this would later occur in New Super Mario Bros. U as well before they finally appeared in New Super Luigi U.
