Priscilla the Peckish is an insect creature found on Yoshi's Island. She is the boss of World 3 in Yoshi's Island DS.
If the Yoshi jumps into or over the sand which she inhabits at the wrong time, Priscilla may eat him, causing him to lose all of his eggs. Yoshi can jump from platform to platform in Priscilla's path to lure her out of her sand pit and throw an egg at her. Alternatively, a Glide Guy may come out and lure her; this second method, however, happens periodically and can therefore take quite some time. She also spits Needlenoses. Priscilla must be hit with 3 Eggs in order to defeat her. After her defeat, she shrinks and explodes and Yoshi and the babies (with the Stork) exit the Castle while Baby Wario joins a team of Bandits.

Trivia
- Priscilla's attack manners are probably based on the larva of a type of real world insect known as the antlion (these larvae are also known as doodlebugs), who are quite well-known for digging pits in sand and devouring any insects that fall into them.
- Priscilla is very similar to the Pokémon Trapinch, as both have large heads, powerful jaws, and tiny bodies with four tiny legs.
- Priscilla is also very similar to the Sarlacc from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Both are creatures that live in the center of a massive sandy slope and enjoy devouring those unlucky enough to fall into their open mouths.
- This is the only boss where the Big Door will only appear in a certain area. (The bottom of the Sand Pit).
