A Singular Blue Podoboo
Blue Podoboo

A trio of Blue Podoboos from Super Mario 3D World hopping out of the Blue Lava.
First appearance Super Princess Peach (2005)
Latest appearance Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (2021)
Species origin Podoboo

A Blue Podoboo is a blue variant of the Podoboo. Sometimes they have a couple differences to a standard Podoboo such as being able to home in on a target but in most games, they behave identically to a standard Podoboo just faster and jumping out of Blue Lava.

Appearances

Super Princess Peach

Blue Podoboos first appears in Super Princess Peach in Bowser's Villa. They jump out of Blue Lava and follow Princess Peach. They can be defeated either by running into them (which causes damage) or if they touch a goblet. Making them touch these goblets is usually required to open the path forward.

Super Mario 3D World / Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury

Blue Podoboos in Super Mario 3D World and it's remake Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, act as their red counterparts, jumping from the lava at set intervals and patterns and are found only in stages with Blue Lava such as Fort Fire Bros.. They are also noticeably faster and some can jump higher than the Red Podoboos.
