Fire Snifits (also called Zeus Guys or Scorchits) are sub-species of Snifits in Yoshi's Island DS. They share their name (which comes from the Greek god, Zeus) with a kind of Bandit found in the original Yoshi's Island. While the bandits throw energy balls at Yoshi, the Fire Snifits have the ability to fire four balls of fire that harm Yoshi. They can inadvertently help Yoshi out by melting unbreakable ice that even Baby Bowser cannot reach. Fire Snifts appear in the Island Museum in the subterranean enemy exhibit.
Trivia
- While these Zeus Guys don't appear in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, the Bandit sub-species with the same name does.
